What if I am claustrophobic?
Many patients with claustrophobia can successfully complete their exam in our 3T MRI. For those experiencing anxiety, we can provide a mild sedative like valium, but this requires bringing a driver. Our open MRI is also available for patients with severe claustrophobia. What is the difference between the 3T and open MRI?
The 3T MRI provides superior image quality, utilizing the most powerful magnet available for patient care. It's a closed magnet with a wider, shorter bore, making it more comfortable for claustrophobic patients. The open MRI allows patients to see the room during the exam, benefiting those with claustrophobia. While its images are excellent, they're not as detailed as the 3T, and the scan takes approximately twice as long. What if I have metal in my body? Can I still have an MRI?
Most patients with metal implants can safely undergo an MRI scan. However, certain devices like most pacemakers and many types of stimulators may preclude MRI scanning. What if I've had dental work? Can I still have an MRI?
Dental work is generally safe for MRI scans. However, it may interfere with image quality if the scan focuses on your head or neck area. How do I know if you take my insurance?
We verify insurance benefits when you schedule your appointment. Our center accepts most insurance plans, but if any issues arise after contacting your insurance company, we will promptly inform you.Can I pay my bill online?

What does ACR accreditation mean?

We can provide a CD of your images before you leave our center, which typically takes a few minutes to create. For written reports, you can request a copy with 24 hours' notice.
